Do you provide tutoring for Further Education and Higher Education?
Yes. We support both Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) students. The applicable rate depends on the level of study.
Can the tutoring be tailored to my goals?
Yes. Support can be discussed around your learning goals, preferred timing, and the areas where you need help. Please include these details when booking a consultation.
Online sessions and availability
Are tutoring sessions online or in person?
All tutoring is delivered online. This allows you to receive support at a convenient time, wherever you are in the UK or internationally, subject to tutor availability.
Can I book a session if I live outside the UK?
Yes. Online tutoring is available to students internationally, as well as throughout the UK.
When can I book a session?
Sessions can be arranged at a time convenient for you, subject to tutor availability. Include your preferred times when you contact us so that we can discuss suitable options.
How long are tutoring sessions?
Sessions are available as either half-hour or one-hour appointments. The first session also includes a complimentary first 30 minutes, as explained below.
Fees and first session
How much do tutoring sessions cost?
The rates are:

Is the first session partly free?
Yes. The first 30 minutes of your first session are free. The following 30 minutes are charged at the applicable half-hour rate:
- FE: the first session costs £35 in total
- HE: the first session costs £40 in total
This applies when the first session lasts one hour: the first 30 minutes are complimentary and the next 30 minutes are charged.
Which fee applies to me?
The FE rate is £70 per hour or £35 for 30 minutes. The HE rate is £80 per hour or £40 for 30 minutes. If you are unsure which category applies to you, mention your course and level when you contact us.

No. You can describe your goals and the areas you find challenging. These details can be discussed during the consultation so that the appropriate support can be considered.
How do I find out whether my requirements can be supported?
Send your subject, level, goals, and preferred timing through the consultation form or by email. We will review your requirements and discuss the most suitable support and availability.
